Community Reference Group

Throughout the development of the Huntly Structure Plan, the Community Reference Group will provide the opportunity to bring community, landowners, businesses and other key stakeholders together, the group will help develop a plan which will help shape Huntly over time.

In 2022 the City invited applications from the community to join the Community Reference Group. In August 2022 the City’s selection panel carefully deliberated the membership of the group and sought a diverse cross section of people in the Huntly community.

The 11 successful applicants continue to participate and collaborate in a series of workshops and meetings that will directly inform and shape the proposed Structure Plan over the life of the project.

The Community reference group members are (in no order):

  • Madolyn Claney-Ransor
  • Nicole Smith
  • Sharon Marriott
  • Ken Beasley
  • Zeina Hayes
  • Tammy Herne
  • Louise Miller
  • Jason Scott
  • Rosemary Edwards
  • Nicholas Drew
  • Bernie Morrissey
