Governance Rules Adopted

The Governance Rules Review survey closed November 17, 2025. We received seven survey responses. Thank you to everyone who provided feedback.

The feedback suggested we needed to make a few small changes. This included needing clearer information about public question time. Particularly the requirements for asking questions in person.

As a result, we made updates to the draft Governance Rules. The rules now clearly explain that questions asked in person must not have a preamble. This will help improve how we manage public questions at future Council meetings.

The updated Governance Rules were adopted at the December 2025 Council meeting.
