The Community Reference Group will run until the Structure Plan is finalised. The Plan is expected to be finalised by the end of 2026.

The Community Reference Group will meet several times during the project, aligned with the projects major milestones.

Meeting are held on weekday evenings (6.30-8pm) in Goornong.

Members should allow time for background reading and preparation before each meeting.

As a member of the CRG you’ll take part in meetings to help shape the Structure Plan. You will represent community views and guide the City on the future changes and needs during the process.

We welcome expressions of interest from everyone who has an interest in Goornong, whether that is as a resident, employee, regular visitor, or community member.

We are hoping to have representation from a broad cross-section of the community, reflecting diverse interests, backgrounds and views. Individuals, as well as representatives from community groups, businesses, workplaces, and sporting groups, are welcome.

The group is made up of twelve community members, with six existing members remaining from the current group. We therefore have six vacancies.
