The Goornong Structure Plan Project recently undertook a community workshop to develop a vision for Goornong.

It involved participants undertaking a range of exercises to hear and share different community ideas around growth, what needs to be protected and what may need to be changed to achieve an active and thriving town.

A series of concept vison maps and cross sections have been completed which show current town features and ideas for potential future improvements.

The maps will inform the next stage of the project and assist in writing the draft structure plan documents which will detail how the towns should develop and grow.
