The following survey has been designed for football and netball clubs managed by AFL Central Victoria, who don't have their home sports field managed by the City of Greater Bendigo but may require the use of a City managed sports field to conduct pre-season and/or in season training .

The results of the survey will be used by the City to identify the interest for both pre-season and in-season training and determine the demand for grounds versus the availability.

In recent seasons, the City has received an increase in pre-season and in season training requests by clubs who do not have a re-occurring agreement for a sports field, managed by the City. 

All organised sporting and fitness groups are required to formally enquire about use of City of Greater Bendigo sporting fields and green spaces, direct with the City, before planning any recognised sport or recreational activities and confirmation of a booking must be received, prior to any activities commencing.  

The City of Greater Bendigo maintain and repair all sporting fields for sporting club use and community use.

By making a booking, groups are taking the necessary steps to avoid unnecessary clashes or conflict with other organised or tenant user groups.

It’s important to note that the sports fields are public spaces, which means a booking does not give the club exclusive use from the general public but it will give you priority use over organised groups.
