The project
Greater Bendigo City Council has adopted a Heritage Strategy and Action Plan 2024 – 2028. The strategy sets a shared vision for heritage management over the next four years. It will do this through actions related to advocacy, knowledge sharing and promotion.
We asked you to help us rank priority actions between September 26 and October 30, 2023. Thank you to everyone who gave feedback on the strategy.
Heritage Victoria encourages councils to have a heritage strategy. This strategy is a collection of actions outlining how we will manage all types of heritage. The Strategy builds on existing legislation and policy, including the Council Plan (Mir wimbul) 2021-2025.
Heritage can be tangible (physical) and intangible (non physical)
