The project
We are preparing a Heritage Strategy and Action Plan 2024-2028. We asked you to help us rank priority actions between September 26 and October 30, 2023.
Heritage Victoria encourages councils to have a heritage strategy. This strategy is a collection of actions outlining how we will manage all types of heritage. The Strategy builds on existing legislation and policy, including the Council Plan (Mir wimbul) 2021-2025. It covers the entire municipality.
This document will not become a statutory control in the Greater Bendigo Planning Scheme as it covers much more than built heritage.
