The City of Greater Bendigo is planning some building upgrades as Stage One of the Heathcote Civic Precinct project. The precinct is an important community hub located on High Street between Herriot Street and Barrack Street.
We’re excited to announce that this project has now been funded!
Funding has been provided by:
- $2M Australian Government Growing Regions Program grant
- $1M Victorian Government Living Libraries Infrastructure Program grant
- $1.3M contribution from the City
Works are set to start later this year.
The Heathcote Library and the City’s Customer and Maternal and Child Health services will move whilst the works are happening. Court House Crafts will permanently move. Details of where to find all of them will be shared widely before the moves.
