Thank you to everyone who provided feedback on the draft stage 2 study. This includes those who completed the survey, attended the drop-in sessions and provided written feedback.

We had over 30 attendees to the three drop-in sessions in Elmore, Huntly and Goornong and received five written submissions.

We heard feedback about:

• Changes that have occurred to places/buildings since the draft citation was prepared.
• Corrections to place histories.
• Additional information for place histories.
• Places that have been missed (unfortunately it is too late to consider these in this study but we will add them to a future investigation list).
• Concerns about the requirements of the Heritage Overlay.

We will consider this feedback in finalising the heritage study and report the feedback and final heritage study to a future Council meeting. The final adopted report will then be made publicly available.

Once the heritage study is adopted by Council, it will then be implemented via a planning scheme amendment to make the recommended changes to the Greater Bendigo Planning Scheme. This is to include a further round of engagement with the community through the exhibition process.
