The Policies
We're reviewing our Complaint Handling Policy and Community Complaints About Councillors Policy, and we'd like to hear from you.
The City is committed to providing a fair, transparent and accessible process for managing complaints. As part of our Customer First review, we're seeking community feedback on our Complaint Handling Policy and Community Complaints about Councillors Policy, which outline how complaints are managed, investigated and resolved.
These policies help ensure concerns raised by community members are treated respectfully, consistently and appropriately. They also provide clarity about how complaints can be made, what to expect during the process and the responsibilities of both the City and complainants.
Your feedback will help us understand whether these policies are easy to understand, accessible and reflective of community expectations. We're particularly interested in hearing about your experiences, what works well and where improvements could be made.
What can you influence?
Your feedback will help shape the final policies and ensure the City continues to provide a complaint management process that is accessible, transparent, respectful and responsive to the needs of our community.
