The Policy
We're reviewing our Community Engagement Policy, and we'd like to hear from you.
The City is committed to working with the community in an open, transparent and meaningful way. As part of our Customer First review, we're seeking community feedback on our Community Engagement Policy, which guides how we involve the community in decisions, projects, plans and services that may impact them.
Effective community engagement helps ensure local knowledge, community perspectives and diverse voices are considered during Council decision-making. The policy outlines the principles and approach the City uses when planning and delivering engagement activities.
Your feedback will help us understand whether the policy is easy to understand, accessible and reflective of community expectations. We're particularly interested in hearing about your experiences participating in City engagement activities, what works well and where improvements could be made.
