Thank you for your interest in this study. Identifying and protecting heritage places is important to us too which is why we are doing this study. 58 people completed the survey and 13 people used the map tool to highlight areas of interest.

The three top reasons respondents said Bendigo South East area heritage was important were:

1. It provides a connection to the past/we can learn from the past
2. It provides a unique local identity and character
3. It preserves architectural styles and construction techniques
